【老K观点】从麦克杰克森的死想开去。。。。。。


当听到这个不幸的消息时，我自己也着实有些惊诧。当我在一个雨天的下午，品着柠檬红茶回味这段人生的同时，也更证实了自己对黑色种族人群的一些看法。我觉得用英文来写我的感受会更切合主题。如果在措辞上损害了爱戴麦克的歌迷们的感情，我在此瑾表我最真诚的歉意。

I got up late in the morning of 26th of June 2009 because I have some guests in my restaurant Karaoked until midnight the previous day.
It was a rainy morning in Accra, nothing special. After I rushed heading to my trading office, I turned the car radio on.

Just few words attracted my attention: “......Michael Jackson’s death.”

I am a loyal listener of BBC during my driving time morning and evening. No news ever shocked me before as I heard those words, I knew however that black pop icon has been suffered for a long time since his surgery.

When the TIME magazine triumphed MJ as a “one-man team to rescue the world’s pop music”, I would like to question on the other side of the story:

What would happen if he didn’t change his skin?

What would happen if he did not rent the Presidential Suite of Four Season Hotel for years?

What would happen if he did not involved the cases with the boys?

Will he still be alive on this vivid world?

“God is great!”, Ghanaians often say. I believe God has been always making his decision, on some great occasions, of cause.

8.7% of this world’s populations are blacks. Most of them are living on Africa Continent. They have been keeping their heritage, tradition, sense and social life of their tribes for hundred years, perhaps beyond. Heritage is hardly to be changed, not only in Accra or Cape Town, also in New York. I have experienced such when I traveled in the Big Apple.

Why change skin colour, if God is great?

If the Bible talks truth, it says that God has created the Human Beings equally. He made some white, some yellow and others black, just for fun I guess, to make this world colorful. There is nothing like the white are noble, and the Blacks are humble in Bible. So what encourage a popular pop star to change his skin colour?

For fun or for fashion?

In the light of natural creature, humans are not advised to alter his/er organs artificially, unless medically suggested.

I learnt most of the women in Africa bleach for important events, wedding, funeral and baby out-door, you name it. Do they notice that the medication used for the bleaching are poisons?
Why they still seek bleaching practice like bees?

What’s the dirty ideas in their minds?

If MJ still keep his original skin as normal, will he need large volume of painkillers to survive everyday，and survive in the Main Stream Society of the States?

Personally, I doubt.

Everybody knows his skin was not his own, he was a black. His new skin was sensitive to the sunshine and usually went wrong. To keep his “White” image, he had to bear the suffering of sickness and kept seeking medical assistance. Obviously, his death could be a result of overdose of the painkillers.

Living like a King is everyone’s peak idea. MJ turn it into reality.

Four Season Hotel doesn’t have a Royal Suite like Shanghai Hilton do, but the Presidential Suite is also a symbol of a brilliant high life.

MJ lived in the Presidential Suite for years, with many Teddy Bears and dreams. He was the luckiest guy among the Jackson’s family, when he stood on the stage at age of four, the focus lights are never left him in dark. From then, nobody could compete with his voice, dance and fortune, even his sister Jane.

There are a lot of pop stars at his time, Carpenters, Michael Bolden, Elton John and more, none had fans crazy for them like no tomorrow. MJ benefited from his Negro-based Dance and Voice, he lead the revolution of the pop world to a new era.
Unfortunately, he betrayed his heritage, only just for a name of so-call “White Man”!

Not a chief in tribe, not the king of Africans, but a white king whom can live in the Presidential Suite of the Luxury Hotel! That is his Dream!

Nothing is permanent, and to keep a luxurious life on the Beverley Hill is not easy. MJ has some eye-catch cases like the Sony Copyright and the Boy Abuse.

Nobody could make himself famous and make his fans crazy like Michael did. He was and will continuously be an example statue of the entire Africans. I admit that he was successful in his career within the past 46 years. But from my opinion, in a Chinese Way maybe, if he didn’t misuse the fortune he earned, didn’t greedily change his well-know skin into white, settle the disputes with Sony, he could be living better, healthier and longer.

Life is the most precious gift from the God. When he gives, he takes something else back for exchange. That’s why God is Great!

Let’s praised the Lord, as he is the justice Elder to look after the creatures on this earth, no matter a white, black or gay, without prejudice, without discrimination.

I will still pray for MJ’s soul and celebrate his 50-year-life with a big wow!

May God richly bless everybody, may our beloved dear Michael rest in peace!
